Editorial Pieces for Exeposé

During my time studying at the University of Exeter, I picked up the role of online sub-editor for the Screen section (which concerned itself with film and television) of the student newspaper Exeposé. This position lasted for about six months, from November through until April. During this time, every fortnight, I would write content calls which acted as requests for writers to take up a number of articles I had come up with (including reviews of the latest films and television series) and complete them within a week. After this week had elapsed, I then edited the pieces to the standards established by the editors above me and uploaded them, through WordPress, to the website with the correct formatting.

In total, during this period I produced 33 articles and collaborated closely with each writer to get every one of them to a standard we could both be proud of. In some cases this took more time than in others, but on the whole I’m really quite happy with the work I helped to produce. It was hard work at times, though never overwhelming, and I’m rather proud to have pushed myself to take up the position.

Below you can find all the work that was published under my sub-editorship.
